For many years Virgin Media was the only way for people in our neighbourhood could get faster than standard broadband. In 2023 Community Fibre strung their fibre optic cables from telegraph poles and into homes, bring competition. They have been operating in other parts of London since 2013.

Many QBC residents and those elsewhere have expressed satisfaction with the newcomer’s service.

Our monthly cost is now £27, rather than £72 with Virgin.

The headline prices for Community Fibre contracts are a lot lower than Virgin Media’s prices. However when pushed Virgin Media have roughly matched the prices. Compare the offerings and prices, hold out for a good deal and factor in that £200 split reward!
